Vote Early


• Early Voting begins two weeks before Election Day.

• Early voting offers a choice of voting sites. To learn where early voting will be offered, visit the Supervisor of Elections HERE.

• Bring a photo ID with a signature, such as a Florida driver’s license.

Vote by Mail


Vote by Mail at your convenience, registered voters are eligible to vote by mail.

Request a Vote by Mail ballot:

• Online: voteseminole.org/vote-by-mail
• By phone: 407.585.VOTE
• In writing to the Department of Elections;
• In person with a picture identification having a signature;
• Or give written authorization to a designee to pick-up the ballot for you, on the day before Election Day.

A Vote By Mail request to the Supervisor of Elections is required no later than 5 P.M. on the 6th day before the election. The Supervisor of Elections is required to mail Vote by Mail ballots to voters no later than four (4) days before the election.

The deadline to submit a Vote by Mail ballot is 7 P.M. on Election Day.

Vote by Mail ballots must be returned in the certificate envelope. You must sign the envelope on the outside and signature must match voter’s signature on record with the Election’s Department. The ballot may be returned in person, by mail, or by authorizing a designated person to deliver the ballot to the Supervisor of Elections.

Vote on Election Day


Polls open from 7 A.M. to 7 P.M. on Election Day.

Go to your assigned polling place on Election Day. You must vote in the precinct where you reside. For proper precinct assignment, it is imperative that your address is correct in the records.

Your precinct is listed on your Voter Information Card. You may also may find your precinct online.

Bring a photo ID that contains your signature, such as a Florida Driver’s License, Debit/Credit Cards, Student ID, Public Assistance ID.

A voter who does not show required identification or whose eligibility cannot be determined at the precinct is entitled to obtain a Provisional Ballot that will be validated as a vote at a later time.

If you relocate within the State of Florida, you may update your address at your new polling location.

• Primary election is ten weeks before the General Election in even years.

• Non-partisan elections are held on Primary Day.
